70 chefs from Russian and China stunned spectators when they cooked up a world record 112-meter long pork kebab. The former record-holder was a 107.6-meter meatstick prepped in Japan.
The cooking took place at the China-Russia border city of Suifenhe, where workers pierced more than 300 kilos of pork slices with a skewer about 111 meters long.
A notary for Guinness World Records announced that the exact length of the kebab was 112.374 meters.
All facilities were disinfected and hundreds of Chinese and foreign tourists enjoyed the giant kebab following food safety workers’ strict supervision.
The event is part of activities of the Fourth China-Russia Tourism Festival held in the city
