While investigating a murder case HK police stumbled upon a grisly scene – heads in a fridge. The heads belonged to an elderly couple, who were reportedly killed by their son, before being dismembered, cooked and salted. Chau Hoi-leung, their 30-year-old son and his 36-year-old friend, Tse Chun-kei are currently under trial at High Court in Hong Kong, according to South China Morning Post.
The murder took place on March 1 last year in Hong Kong when the couple was invited to Tse’s house at Tai Kwok Tsui. Chau and Tse attacked the couple and cut their throats. They then chopped their bodies into pieces, before salting them like ham and cooking them in a microwave. The four limbs were placed in a dry cabinet while the heads, organs, and genitals were stored in the fridge.
On March 15, Chau and Tse were arrested after police found the couples’ heads in the fridge along with the sternums, spines, pelvises, and a plastic box-containing flesh and organs.
Chau confessed to the police he’d planned the murder half a year ago with his friend Tse, citing a poor relationship with his parents as the motive. He added that his parents were the true guilty ones.
He also revealed that they’d scattered some of the remains in the sea and throughout the countryside.
The trial continues today.
