No, we’re not ‘taking the piss.’ Beijing authorities are now conducting random urine tests at bars, which are leading to mass arrests and deportations of expats.
According to The Beijinger, a recent raid at 2 Kolegas, a popular bar, saw 30 suspects detained, including ten expats, who are in the process of being deported!!!!!

It’s no secret that drug use in on the rise with meth proving the drug of choice among Chinese youths. However we just hope this war on drugs doesn’t devolve into an anti-foreigner witch hunt like many other so-called measures, like those concerning food safety‘ and ‘anti-corruption.’
