After winning 398 million yuan (497 million before taxes) in a lottery in Shandong, this man in a Mickey Mouse mask gave everyone a Disney ending by donating 20 million yuan of his winnings to charity, Apple Daily reports.
The man reportedly wore the mask during the post-lottery press conference, where he pledged to put 20-million yuan into a charity fund to help people in the community.
A representative from the lottery center revealed that the winner was a shoe shop owner.
This prize is the third largest in China’s lottery history, following only the China Welfare Lottery Beijing’s pot of 570 million yuan and a 565 million yuan pot in Zhejiang.
