Guo Xueguang, a villager in Puyang County, Henan province with only primary education, assembled a small dual-control aircraft in nine months, costing him around 60,000 yuan. Remarkably, the aircraft can reach 3,000 meters in altitude, according to Oriental Daily.
Longing to fly in the sky, Guo began working in Tianjin at the age of 16 to save up money for his dream. He spent 60,000 yuan that he’d saved up to make the small fixed-wing aircraft with two dual controls, which he managed to put together in only nine months.
The aircraft has flown ten more times in Tianjin, accumulating a total of 38 flight hours so far.
Guo plans to transfer the small craft back to his hometown Puyang for wedding services and farming activities after he is well trained.
