A park in Guangdong Province is asking the public to suggest names for the rare set of panda triplets born there. The person who thinks up the best name for the cubs, who just turned a month old and have decidedly entered their cute phase, could win up to 110,000 RMB.
An initial check-up report on Thursday showed that the triplets are in good, healthy condition. The largest of the three panda babies has already grown into sweet little 1227.6-gram ball of fluff.
A panda breeding specialist at the park also revealed the cubs’ genders. The first-born is a male, and the other two are female.
Why, we remember them when they still looked like little hairless freaks.
On the triplets’ one-month birthday, the Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou announced the kick-off to a worldwide name recruitment event. Anyone looking to immortalize their legacy as the person who named the trio of national treasures can suggest names at the park’s website or through CCTV.
Now let us reminisce via this baby delivery footage.
