A humongous image formed with tea bowls at Daming Lake Park in Jinan, Shandong province set a new Guinness World Record for being the largest of its kind ever created, while also effectively earning itself a spot on China’s list of absurd, pointless world records.
The tea-bowl image, photographed on August 30, was formed with a total of 5,280 bowls of black tea and milk tea, according to ECNS.
The characters read “first spring under heaven,” and “Jinan, China”.
As the tea-bowl image covers an area of 86.5, it broke the previous Guinness World Record set by another picture made with 5,000 tea bowls last year in Dalian, Liaoning province. Suckers.
