A student in Wenzhou who’s made a business out of selling Wifi on trains says he earns more than 600 RMB in just half a day, all of which goes towards his college tuition, Oriental Daily reports.
The unidentified opportunist was recently photographed on a train holding a sign that reads: “ College student selling Wifi for tuition fees”.
Interested passengers lined up for payment as he entered the password of his shared Wifi, allowing them to have internet connection.
As for charges, 10 RMB allows customers an hour of internet connection, 15 RMB gets two hours and four hours costs 20 RMB. He even offers a free hour of Wifi for pretties who leave their WeChat contacts.
