Sijia, the Giant Panda (above), excitedly reaches for a platter of specially-made carrot moon cakes. She was one of several animals at the Yunnan Wildlife Park to receive the holiday treats in honor of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
From the looks of it, the carrot-studded pastries were the cure for her depression, and not that plasma TV.
The monkeys get theirs delivered via raft.
It seems the raccoons aren’t high enough up in the zoo hierarchy to receive whole moon cakes, and have to settle for crumbs. These Fujian Normal University students can probably empathize.
