A Japanese national committed suicide on Saturday after he killed his wife and son at their home in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, Xinhua reports.
Boa’an district police on Saturday got a phone call from the man’s older brother, who said he hadn’t been able to reach his 39-year-old sibling. When officers arrived at the younger brother’s home, they broke inside to find him, his wife and his two-year-old son all dead.
Preliminary investigation found that the case was the result of a family dispute. The man killed his wife on September 1, then on Saturday committed suicide after killing his son.
A suicide note left by the man attributed the killings to ‘domestic violence done by his wife,’ according to police statements.
