A third-year college student from Southwestern University launched his own business selling sanitary napkins as shoe pads for military freshmen, raking in a somewhat remarkable profit of 600 yuan per day, according to Tencent News.
Salesman Li Yuanhao even offers delivery service to the newcomers. He purchases his products in the morning from a wholesale market near his school then sells them at night in the student dormitory.
In Chongqing Beibei Integrated Wholesale Market, Li picks up 24 packs of napkins to take back to school.
Li is photographed giving change to a customer who purchased his first “shoe pad”.
Li teaches a freshman the, um, complicated process of transforming sanitary napkins to shoe pads for his sore dogs.
