Zhejiang customs recently destroyed a massive haul of 70,000 imitation guns that had been seized and confiscated since 2011, EaseNet reported yesterday.
According to the customs officers, the bulk contained more than 20 styles of replicas, some of which you can see piled up in images below.
China has some of the strictest gun laws in the world, as it bans everything related to private gun manufacturing, ownership and transport. Recently, Shanghai police located and arrested 17 members of a replica gun sales ring that helped distribute products through a website with over 90,000 members. In that particular bust, officers seized 46 replica guns, 11 of which were apparently capable of causing injury.
