China Eastern Airlines recently took delivery of their first of 20 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which feature some pretty swanky first class suites. Here’s a little preview of what you’ll be bitterly sneaking glances at from afar (economy class, presumably), should you ever fly on one of these babies.
The enclosed suites include double beds equipped with blankets, slippers, towels and headphones. Real headphones. The rooms are notably similar to those featured in Singapore Airline’s Suites Class.
Children get trays of animal-shaped food (which, to be honest, look equally as unappetizing as economy class’s microwaved lunches).
The Boeing 777-300ER will mainly operate between Asia and North America, according to Boarding Area. Its first long-haul flight will go from Shanghai to New York JFK on November 15 this year.
Currently the plane is taking only domestic flights, i.e. Shanghai to Chengdu, to help crew get acquainted with the fancy inner-workings.
