The two Russian daredevils who conquered the Shanghai Tower and scaled Hong Kong skyscrapers have released this INSANE video from their Hong Kong escapades, in which they hijacked a skyscraper billboard and did this awesome Inception-like thing.
Their video, titled What’s Up Hong Kong, not only contains really scary shots of themselves against the Hong Kong skyline – they’ve also somehow managed to hack into the skyscraper’s billboard system, hijack the billboard and proceed to screen footage of their Shanghai Tower climb on the billboard itself, followed by the message WHAT’S UP HONG KONG. We are awed.
The original billboard that was hijacked, bearing the name of the Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group. Not sure how the Group feels about this, but we would definitely be more than honoured.
Their feat at the Shanghai Tower has also spawned a copycat move from two Chinese men in February. But nothing probably beats this stunt, which they say was filmed a few hours before they left on their Tokyo flight. Talk about leaving in style.
Watch the full video here. Footage of the billboard hijack process begins from 2:31 onwards:
