Dozens of hopeful, young sweet potatoes came from throughout the land, but ultimately only one could come away with the crown and the title of “most beautiful” in a sweet potato beauty contest held in Guangxi province over the weekend.
The contest took place in a town in Guangxi’s Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County. Experts judged the competitors on three categories: weight, outer beauty, and inner-character. To win, only a truly well-rounded root vegetable could come out on top.
Check out the gorgeous winners and their proud owners.
