Chinese construction isn’t always known for being the sturdiest and, amazingly, no students were harmed on Sunday when the entire section of a wall in the student dorms at a University in Changchun had its tiles blown completely off by the wind, reports qq news.
The university building, currently housing freshmen attending Changchun college of Finance and Economics, was ‘battered’ by a force 4 wind (a moderate breeze) and was seen to be ‘shredding its skin’, as described by a teacher at the university.
The teacher added that many of the students had mistaken the red tiling for brick and were concerned for their safety. He then reassured them that the school will be reinforcing the wall as soon as possible.
