What will it take to prevent China’s impatient motorists from running the red light at traffic junctions? These high school students from Hohhot, capital of the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, have decided to dissuade such irresponsible behaviour by forming a human barricade at junctions while the red light is on, according to NetEase News. We sincerely hope that they have enough time to leave when the red light flashes back to green.
The high school students have apparently carried this out under a high school initiative. With their synchronized actions, hand-made posters and incredibly poised statures, they look like the ideal candidates to be delivering a public service announcement. Motorists look somewhat bewildered, but seem to be heeding their advice anyway.
