Surprise surprise. The Hong Kong International Airport was named, for the eighth time in nine years, as the “Best Airport in China” by travel magazine Business Traveler China. Would we really have guessed otherwise?
According to escs.cn, this result was determined by a reader poll tha was launched in 2005. Participants voted for their favourite airport based on its ability to provide a “enjoyable and hassle-free experience”.
Guess that paper panda army display at HKIA was definitely a much more effective marketing strategy than the opening of an airport museum in Pudong airport.
