At around 8:00 this morning, a car just barely dodged getting sucked into a sinkhole while it was traveling on a road in Zhenjiang city, Jiangsu province.
Images show the car balancing precariously as two rear wheels hang over the edge of the gaping hole, which measures around five meters in diameter and two meters deep.
According to the residents, the road is relatively new, and has been used for just over two years.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
A similar problem was reported a few months ago Zhengzhou, Henan province, where as many as 15 sinkholes have appeared on a newly built road within the past half year. Too scary.
