Either someone needs to stop using Google Translate or just pay a tiny bit more of attention in English class.
“Please wait behind the yellow line” becomes “please wait outside a noodle.” Not helpful at all! But pretty entertaining.
Aside from the the translations that make no sense, there are also some pretty glaring inconsistencies among the English signage.
In the station, “private cars” can be described as “social vehicles” or “social cars”
Is it “Xi’anbei railway station” or the North Railway Station? This could result in a number of travel-related mishaps for English speakers.
Directions to the airport bus station are about as straightforward as it gets.
