December 26th was the 121st anniversary of the birth of Mao Zedong, Chinese Communist revolutionary and founding father of the People’s Republic of China. To commemorate his birthday, massive celebrations were held at Mao Zedong Square in Shaoshan, Mao’s hometown in Hunan.
