Twenty-four-year-old Hu Xialu from Gushan town, Yongkang city, Zhejiang province lost his arms after a severe electric shock he suffered when he was just eight years old, but his disability never stopped him from pursuing a better life.
Hu had striven to finish his primary school and high school education and in 2009, he applied to the Beijing Professional Business Institute with top marks, Tencent News reports. Taking his health conditions into consideration, however, the school rejected him.
