Last month, Liu Fulong created a wooden armored vehicle complete with toy missiles and model radar. This time, he built something for himself that’s a bit more stylish, functional, and eco-friendly.
The sweet-ass car is battery powered and made mostly of wood. According to China Daily, it cost Liu more than 10,000 RMB to make. Liu says the model is an upgraded version of the car he unveiled in October. This newest version can reach a blazing top speed of more than 50kph and can even carry a passenger. Once fully charged, the car can run for 20km.
48-year-old Liu lives in Shenyang, Liaoning Province and has more than 30 years of experience as a carpenter. He is the undisputed king in China of self-made wooden cars. He also seems to have a lot of free time on his hands. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with next month. Maybe, three seats??!!
