While most of us stick with the ever-effective “WASH ME” when it comes to finger-painting on dusty windshields, one retired teacher in Chengdu, Sichuan province roams his town creating impromptu works of art on soot-coated cars.
The artist, 67-year-old Xiao Xiangzhong, is a former high school teacher whose interests lie mainly in painting and calligraphy. After his retirement, he took up the hobby of etching on dusty vehicles in the street, but said he had no idea that his images, all unfinished, would be such a hit on social media.
When reporters caught up to him, he was able to draw up one of his dust creations in less than five minutes, Sohu News reports.
