Here’s some kind of romantic/sort of sad survey results for you all ahead of Valentine’s Day. Nearly 50 percent of Chinese men surveyed said that they would continue chasing their dream gal rather than search for new love even if their feelings weren’t reciprocated by the woman.
A survey created by zhenhai.com, a popular dating site in China, found that 47.33 percent of male respondents would ‘continue trying to please their dream lovers even if they get no where’, according to a write-up from China Daily. We wonder how many of these guys participated in the poll.
While a good portion of men might not mind playing second fiddle, 83.99 percent of females surveyed said they’re against the idea of putting a lot of effort into a relationship when they aren’t the main woman.
More than half the women surveyed, however, seem to hold their future mates to some pretty high standards, at least as far as their wallets go. A whopping 72.38 percent of female participants said that they expect their husbands to earn twice as much as them. Unfortunately for them, China’s rich bachelors seem pretty secure in their single-dom.
