A truck driver in Kunming somehow avoided sustaining any injury despite his truck falling from an elevated road and face-planting the ground below.
According to NetEase the young driver lost control of the goods vehicle while driving along the Daguan bridge during the early hours of the morning. After smashing through the cement safety barrier and falling several meters, the driver was able to climb out of the smashed up remains of his cabin unscathed.
Owing to the large size and weight of the truck, coupled with the fact that it came to rest at somewhat of an awkward angle, it took emergency services until 1:00 that afternoon to dismantle and remove the last remnants of the vehicle and reopen the road.
