Neuro-Rhumba @ Island6 Arts Center
This week is your last chance to check out Neuro-Rhumba! Liu Dao collective’s exhibition closes it’s doors this Thursday. The collective is known for incorporating sound, light and interactive elements in their pieces. This introspective exhibition “shines a neon light on the dance floor of that incredible ball of squiggles”, examining how the brain responds to art. Read more here.

D’Bize Irish Music Session @ Shanghai Concert Hall
Enjoy some traditional Irish folk music in celebration of St Patty’s. Féile Shanghai has organized lunch sessions as part of Ireland Week, which lasts until March 23. D’Bize describes itself as “The best of old Irish tradition with a young heart.” Get more information here.

Anniversary Party @ The Shanghai Brewery
To celebrate Shanghai Brewery’s 5th anniversary (and to squash false rumours that they were closing), Shanghai Brewery’s city centre branch will be offering free kegs. Celebrate St Patty’s and catch a live performance by the high energy and “soulicious” Studio 188 at Limbo! The eleven-piece live band has been dubbed “Shanghai’s best dressed” band and will make sure you won’t leave the dance floor. They’re performing classic rock, funk, and soul. Limbo is known as the one and only Caribbean restaurant and live music bar in Shanghai. In celebration of St Patty’s Day they’ve arranged a special deal with Guinness. Happy Hour includes all Guinness drafts and lasts all night long!

Michael Craig-Martin: 2015 China Tour @ Zendai Himalayas Museum

Hailed as “the high priest of ordinary things” Irish artist Michael Craig-Martin is known for his seemingly simple paintings of everyday objects set against vivid hues.
