Another day, another venturesome high-rise climber making our earth-bound accomplishments look utterly dull…*sigh*. This most recent sweat-inducing footage comes from one Andrej Ciesielski, a madcap German teen who scaled the 700-foot-tall Lee Gardens One Tower (previously the Manulife Plaza) in Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay with nothin’ but a camera strapped around his neck.
Ciesielski joins the likes of other urban adventurers, including climbing duo On The Roofs and the so-called Crazy Russians, who throw caution and perhaps all sanity to the wind to ascend some of the world’s tallest skyscrapers, typically without any safety equipment. The result? Gorgeous aerial images of cityscapes that the rest of us look upon in awe and fear.
In a statement only confirming his unabashed bad-assery, 18-year-old Ciesielski told the Huffington Post “When you are going to the rooftops, you are not afraid of the height, you are afraid of the police—that’s the point.”
Watch the video below and try not to pee your pants a little.
