Your friends are running the Pyongyang Marathon and you want to tag along, but have no interest in running. If that’s you, you’ll be glad to hear about the 1-Day Pyongyang Express Tour that Uri Tours is introducing. April 10 and April 13 are the only two dates for this extremely rare opportunity to see the North Korean capital in under 24 hours.
For each of these tours, you’ll arrive into Pyongyang very early in the morning. Check into the Koryo Hotel and take a quick rest before taking on the city. See the highlights of Pyongyang, the Mansudae Grand Monuments, the Victorious War Museum and the Juche Tower. Take a ride on the Pyongyang Metro, see the “US spy ship” (aka USS Pueblo) and then enjoy DPRK craft beer before returning to Shanghai at night on the same day! Flights from Shanghai and DPRK visa fees are all included.
ITINERARY: April 10 / April 13
Meet at Terminal 1, Air Koryo Counter L at 10pm on the evening of the flight (April 9 or 12). DPRK visas will be handed out at this time. Flight time to Pyongyang is at 0030, arrival at 0350. Local tour guides will greet you at the airport. Check into at the Koryo Hotel in city center for breakfast and rest.
Leave the hotel at 10am. Visit the Mansudae Grand Monument. This important site is famous for its large, bronze statutes of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Stop in at the Foreign Languages Bookshop to pick up your favorite DPRK trinkets and publications.
See a panorama view of the entire city from the top of the Juche Tower (optional 5 euros to take the lift).
