In a tragic sequence of events, a man from Lanzhou, Sichuan province who had committed suicide by jumping off the 28th floor of a building hit a woman who was walking on the street below.
According to Sina News, the woman sustained serious injuries and is now in critical condition at a local hospital.
One resident who knew the male victim said that he’d been in a serious car accident about a year ago. ”He is a father of two, the youngest being just four years old. The family has no financial issues and they live in harmony. Last Spring Festival, however, he’d been in a car accident and suffered severe burns.”
Sadly enough, this isn’t the first case of its kind in China. In 2013, a woman visiting Shenzhen was taking a walk when she was struck by a suicidal man who’d jumped from a building.
