The world’s luckiest dog somehow survived what could’ve been a horrific accident after getting hit by a car at full speed on a Hunan expressway.
The dog was crossing the expressway on March 26 when the black sedan rammed into the animal at full speed, according to China Daily. When the driver of the car went to check on it, he saw that the animal had somehow gotten wedged inside a slot under the bumper and barely looked hurt.
He continued driving for another 400km until reaching a veterinarian, who treated the pup for only minor injuries.
The car owner, surnamed Zhang, decided to adopt the dog, and returned to the vet on March 30 with a rented tricycle to bring it home.
