A young girl from Henan province who had been missing for 45 days mysteriously turned up at the exact same spot she went missing from wearing new clothes.
According to Henan Times, eyewitnesses spotted the girl emerging from a taxi on March 5 in the company of a man and two women at the same place she had gone missing from over a month ago. She was wearing new clothes and showed no signs of having been harmed in any way.
Her parents told reporters that the first thing she said upon returning home was that she wanted to go to back to kindergarten. The girl hasn’t said much else about what happened over the previous 45 days, other than that while she was at the “other house” she had ham to eat, but no friends to play with. She also witnessed adults having a fight.
Police are conducting an investigation into the incident, but huge questions remain to be answered. Why did she go missing in the first place? Who brought her home? What had she been doing for a month and a half? And who bought her those new clothes?
