More than 1,700 students recently sat an exam outside of the classroom in a high school track field in Yichuan county, Shaanxi Province.
According to news reports, students were ordered to move their tables and chairs throughout the test to keep out of direct sunlight whilst the new exam arena was set up. We’re surprised they didn’t just give them parasols.
Is the extra oxygen meant to help their performance? Probably not. Last November, teachers at a college in Shaanxi province likewise sent over 1,000 students outside for an examination in an effort to prevent cheating among test-takers.
