China’s misbehaving and urinating laowai are at it again. This time the offense went down in Wuhan, Hubei province when a foreign male whipped it out and began peeing against the side of a taxi after he accused the driver of refusing to serve him.
The dispute was triggered when the foreigner, identified only as being European, tried to get in a cab but the driver wouldn’t take him. The cabbie had tried to explain that he was waiting on another customer who’d ordered the service through a phone app, but a communication barrier between the two only worsened the situation and an argument ensued.
Venting his anger, the European man began relieving himself against the side of the taxi. Fortunately, the driver restrained himself until a police officer arrived at the scene with a nearby foreigner who acted as a translator.
The ordeal had lasted for around three hours, according to local reports, until police finally accompanied the Europeein man (sorry) to his destination.
This isn’t the first time a foreigner has made headlines this month for their unruly bladders. A man was taken away by police on April 12 after urinating on a public bus in Nanjing. He was believed to be intoxicated.
