A scammer in Chuzhou, Anhui province received a painful lesson after she tried to feign injury on the road and extort a driver for money.
According to footage aired on Anhui TV, the ordeal took place at around 7:00 p.m. in the middle of the road near a local reservoir.
Two women and a man had been seen on the footage crossing the road one after another before the three lingered and started roughhousing in a middle lane. Soon enough, a car with a local car plate number drove towards them on the opposite lane at a reduced speed.
Upon seeing the automobile, one of the three, a female in her 20s surnamed Feng, rushed towards the vehicle and threw her upper body on the hood (as shown below). The driver, seemingly realizing that Feng hadn’t actually been hurt, drove off.
Undeterred, Feng remained in the street until her next “prey” came along. A few seconds after the first target drove off, a fast-moving car with a Nanjing car plate rammed into Feng, who was then knocked down on the ground and seriously injured. It seems that an oncoming car’s high beams had obstructed the driver’s view.
Anhui Police confirmed in a report this week that Feng had been sent to a local hospital and is now in stable condition after having been treated for multiple injuries including head and leg wounds. Further investigation of the swindler’s motives is in progress.
Don’t try this at home kids.
