A motorist in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, attempted to run over a woman carrying a baby after they had a dispute over jumping in the queue.
According to South China Morning Post, the argument started on Thursday afternoon when the young woman pushed into the queue in order to buy herself some milk tea.
Several of the customers in queue, including the female motorist, became angry at the woman—a normal reaction. The driver proceeded to slap the woman (who was holding a baby) twice before getting into her car and chasing the lady down the pavement as she tried to leave—a fucking insane reaction.
The woman was forced to take refuge in a beauty parlour, but the Audi driver tracked her down and blocked the entrance with her car.
Hundreds of people started to surround the car in protection of the queue-jumper, and the police were subsequently called to the scene.
The driver was immediately put into the police car and the officers began to investigate the scene. Members of the public demanded that the driver get out of the car to apologise to the lady who was still hiding in the beauty parlour.
Who knew that people in China took queues so seriously these days? Oh wait.
