Floating Wine Cups @ Shang Xia
Go check out Pan Xi’s exhibit at Shang Xia titled ‘Floating Wine Cups’. The exhibition is part of Shang Xia’s aim to combine art and lifestyle. The ink wash paintings are said to be an evolution of styles from the Wei-Jin intelligentsia. Find out more here.

Fount does Japanese food, but in a European style. For lunch they do three different set menus. For 68 RMB you get one soup, one main course and one beverage (among coffee espresso and tea). Lu Pingyuan @ MadeIn Gallery
Unusual approach to art here by young artist Lu Pingyuan from Hangzhou. He writes stories that contain an element of art. Stuck up on the walls in the MadeIn Gallery are sheets of paper with evocative stories in both Chinese and English. Elsewhere in the gallery there are installation works such as a large motorbike and fake doors.

Michael Wolf: Paris Rooftops @ M97
M97 hosts Hong Kong-based photographer Michael Wolf. He is known for his dizzying images of cities, density and urban life. For this exhibit, he turns his lens to the rooftops of Paris. Wolf consciously avoided the quintessentially Parisian sights and scenes, and instead explored the city’s zinc roofs. Find out more here.

Apphia Campbell brings back her one-woman play Black Is The Color Of My Voice, a musical inspired by Nina Simone.
