Get ready for a weekend that celebrates all things beer as the fifth annual International Beer Festival comes to Shanghai again. The event will feature over 200 different premium beers form all around the world and across China.
The last edition of the Shanghai International Beer Festival managed to attract more than 30,000 people despite the early November rain.
The Minh Nguyen, co-founder of the festival and managing director of the organiser Bevex, tells Shanghaiist that a 12-booth entertainment area will host beer-themed games and cooking shows designed to encourage visitors to interact with brewers, distributors, bartenders and restaurant owners. There’s also the opportunity to discover and taste new brews and limited releases.
And what’s a beer fest without some great music? Rockilla, DJ Yeti, [email protected], Frank Bray, Mick Martinez, and other musical headliners will be rocking the festival.
