A female taxi driver was seen crying upon realising her insurance wouldn’t cover the cost of repairs to a Maserati she collided with while changing lanes in Tiexi district, Shenyang city.
According to NetEase, the collision caused damage along the left-hand side of the Maserati. The taxi also sustained damage, with it’s bumper falling off and two lights ending up smashed.
The 30-something driver of the Maserati declined to reveal the price of the car and the date on which he bought it. When asked how much her third-party insurance would cover, she said 300,000 yuan. Upon hearing that this would not be enough to cover the cost of the repairs, the taxi driver began to cry.
Eyewitnesses say that although neither car was travelling very fast, accidents are common in the area due to the numerous pillars under the bridge which obscure lines of sight.
