Since arriving in China and opening up a Weibo account, Apple CEO Tim Cook has been busy, embarking on a tour of mainland Apple stores and being greeted by jubilant crowds.
Tim Cook on Wednesday evening posted a photo (above) to his brand new Weibo account of a surprise visit he made to Hangzhou’s new flagship Apple store by the West Lake along with the caption “Breathtaking store in a beautiful city!”
Earlier that afternoon, the CEO posted photos from another outlet in Beijing’s Xidan Joy City where he met with local staff and employees.
Yesterday afternoon, more photos emerged. This time he’d made it to Shanghai where he posted: “What an honor to meet Mrs. Ma, a Shanghai teacher for 32 years and regular at our store on Nanjing East Road.”
Tim Cook’s arrival in China comes as the California-based announced a few days ago a new environmental protection initiative that includes working with the World Wildlife Fund to protect one million acres of forest in China.
