A man from Xinjiang has smashed the Guinness World Record for the longest blindfolded tightrope crossing, walking backwards between two skyscrapers in Kunming, Yunnan province before a large crowd of spectators.
According to NetEase, Aisikaier made his crossing of the 100-meter-long tightrope, suspended 150 meters above the ground, yesterday afternoon.
If walking blindfolded across a thin piece of rope wasn’t difficult enough already, after making his first crossing he took a bottle of water, placed it on his head, and walked back across the tightrope, successfully delivering the mineral water without incident.
Two years ago, Aisikaier broke another tightrope-related world record by walking across an 18-meter-long tightrope suspended between two hot air balloons.
