The spouses of 50 Jiangxi government officials dressed up in red army uniform to take part in special anti-corruption training this past Friday.
The aim of the event was to raise awareness of the role the wives play in helping to oversee the Chinese government’s recent crackdown on corruption.
According to NetEase, the 50 women assembled in Ruijin to receive education on the history of the Chinese Communist Party. As part of the their busy itinerary, the women were taken on a tour of old revolutionary bases in Jiangxi province.
Ruijin was host to a number of important sites in Chinese revolutionary history where several important institutions of the CPC were located.
