A 70-year-old woman’s lost puppy notice has recently attracted a lot more attention than your typical lost puppy notice, most likely because of the very untypical reward she’s offering: a four million yuan house in Beijing.
The puppy went missing last Thursday at a subway station in Beijing. As her daughters and sons are all living overseas, the woman, surnamed Liu, lives alone with her pet pooch in China’s capital.
After the notice was posted online, Liu received numerous calls from people claiming to have found her dog. Most of them, unfortunately, found the wrong dog.
Because of the attractive prize, some people have even disguised their dogs to make them look like the lady’s lost pup. Liu said she’s tired of getting her hopes up only to be let down.
“We are fed up with the fake calls and are thinking of giving up the search,” her nephew was quoted as saying.
