Watch the moment a 65-year-old passenger yesterday was pulled out of the water and onto the hull of the passenger ship that capsized on Monday night with 458 people on board.
The passenger, Zhu Hongmei, had managed to stay alive for 15 hours after finding an air pocket in the sunken vessel. A rescue diver equipped her with scuba equipment, and after a quick lesson on how to use it, led the woman out of the Yangtze River.
Zhu is one of only a handful of survivors on the Eastern Star cruise ship. CCTV reported today that 14 passengers have survived, 13 were confirmed dead and hundreds more are still missing.
