A “floating restaurant” was spotted in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province yesterday afternoon, allowing customers to take in views of the city as they enjoyed their meal.
According to NetEase, the spectacle was a free promotional event organised by a local property developer.
While the diners were having their meal, they could take in panoramic views of the city’s Fenhe river.
In June of last year, a suspended dining table also appeared outside of a hotel in Shanghai’s Lujiazui district, allowing 22 customers to experience what we imagine must have been a terrifying dining experience from 50 meters up in the air.
