Pigpen Cinema Presents “Kurt Cobain: A Montage of Heck” @ The Grumpy Pig
A documentary film about the legendary 90’s rock icon Kurt Cobain. Directed by Brett Morgen, production of the film began in 2007. It is the first documentary about Kurt Cobain which involves the collaboration of Cobain’s family, including his daughter, Frances Bean Cobain (who was also a co-executive producer on the film). You don’t want to miss this! Doors open at 9pm and the movie starts at 9:30pm. Free ‘Grumpy’ movie popcorn will be provided, and drinks are on special. The Paper Cinema’s Odyssey @ Shanghai Grand Theatre
Catch Homer’s iconic tale, Odyssey, told vividly with beautiful illustrations and masterful puppetry at Shanghai Grand Theatre. The Paper Cinema’s wonderful illustrations are manipulated by puppeteers in front of a live video camera and projected in real-time.
