Just a week after a woman in Guizhou was spotted cruising along with a medical drip sticking out of her window, another driver from Zhejiang was caught doing the same.
Not only was the man, surnamed Wu, driving with the intravenous drip still attached to his arm, he was also busy talking on his phone.
Wenzhou police stopped Wu last Saturday when they saw him driving 80 km/h on the highway with an iron pole poking out of his side window.
As he held the phone with his right hand, his left hand held on to the wheel and the pole.
The 40-year-old man, surnamed Wu, told the police that an emergency had come up, requiring him to leave the health clinic before the infusion was complete. He reassured the officers that his driving wasn’t dangerous ‘because he’s very good at multitasking’.
Clearly unimpressed, police handed Wu a 50 yuan fine and deducted four points from his driving license for dangerous driving and using his phone.
