A middle-aged female bus passenger in Harbin served a whopping dose of justice to a thief who’d attempted to take off with her belongings by slapping him up with her bare hands and then a shoe—even after he’d returned her goods.
The No. 53 bus was traveling along Nanzhe Road when the woman noticed a package of hers had gone missing.
“Her bag was opened and she saw that her belongings were gone. She started to scream on the bus in order to find the thief,” another passenger told reporters. “Some kindhearted people helped her spot him.”
The middle-aged woman took matters into her own hands and repeatedly hit the thief. Although the man returned her package and pleaded for her to stop, the ruthless auntie carried on with her attack, even taking off her shoe to beat him.
The stolen package was filled with cash and important paperwork, the woman later said.
The bus driver pulled over and waited for police to intervene, but the thief had managed to escape from an open window.
