500 Years/God Loves Whatever @ BANK
Go check out the joint exhibition from Heidi Voet and Geng Yini. In 500 Years, Voet’s work uses the 500 year lifespan of a plastic bag to explore the past 500 years of human history, with the plastic bag as her material. For God Loves Whatever, Geng’s works weave together images from across time and space and will take you through a journey of religion and faith. On from May 29 until next Saturday.

Produced by China’s most famous husband-wife theatre team, this is a musical not to be missed. Written by Liao Yimei and directed by Meng Jinghui, Amber is the second in their ‘Pessimism Trilogy’, which also includes Rhinoceros in Love and Soft. The musical describes the complicated relationship a girl has gotten herself into after his boyfriend died and she desperately needs to hear his heart which has been transplanted to another man.
