You thought your workout was intense? A man was recently spotted running on a busy road during rush hour in Suzhou to get his endorphins pumping. He waited at the intersection like all the other cars and started off when the lights turned green.
Like any impatient driver, the bold runner even swerved through lanes to pass the “slow” cars during his jog on Genjiang Road. One SUV driver was seemingly nervous enough to offer the runner some space after he darted in front of the vehicle.
One driver, surnamed Chen, said he recorded the mid-road racer as he was driving with his friend.
“We had to follow him slowly in order to not rush to him and we didn’t want to honk at him in case he would get startled,” he said.
The workout enthusiast’s dangerous run violated the road safety law in China and the man was warned and fined 50 yuan.
